So to amplify this verse- it means “I (Jesus) elected to make myself into a human form for your sakes so that you might be spiritually changed (born again) and be set right with the Heavenly Father with your sins forgiven by My atonement in full.”

This “ek” imputes individual sanctification that sets Christian disciples “apart” by faith from the world filled with unredeemed men who have not trusted Jesus by faith (from Quora)
